Here at Starro Precision Products & Engineering, LLC we understand that the supply chain can only be as strong as the weakest link. Within the supply chain we do our utmost to operate from a position of strength and help other supply chain participants strengthen their positions as well. We also recognize that the best way to improve overall supply chain performance is:
- To define the supply chain as the entire chain
- To optimize the entire supply chain
- To let the customer processes drive the data analysis and work its way back to the customer’s supplier and the suppliers’ supplier.
Why should the customer be in the driver’s seat? The ultimate goal is to satisfy the customer requirements and do it in the most efficient and expeditious way possible. One of the misconceptions is to limit the focus on the immediate customer without a regard to their customers and the entire supply chain.
The supply chain is a closed-cost model. This means that when costs are added throughout the supply chain the resultant effect is increased finished product cost. Our philosophy is to reduce product end-to-end life-cycle costs through planning and Design For Manufacturability “DFM”.
